Event Overview
Her Honour conducted an official visit to the City of Orillia while the City hosted the Ontario Winter Games. Her Honour met with His Worship Steve Clark and later the organizers and volunteers of the Games. Her Honour and His Worship then observed the Curling Finals and participated in the gold and silver medal presentations. Following the ceremony, Her Honour attended a reception with community members at the Stephen Leacock Museum.

Site of Significance
The Stephen Leacock Museum was designated a national historic site of Canada in 1992 because it was an inspiration to Stephen Leacock, among the most celebrated of Canadian authors and humorists, and both an extension and a reflection of his life and personality. Source
