Voices of Ontario

Upon my appointment as Lieutenant Governor in 2014, I set out to engage with Ontarians where they live, through multi-disciplinary roundtables, community events, anniversary celebrations, school visits, speaking engagements, local business tours, and the hundreds of other ways we recognize and celebrate ourselves and others in Ontario.

It has been a privilege to encourage people to listen to each other and to engage in meaningful dialogue. My discovery that stories have the capacity to give meaning to life experiences, through which personal, family, and community identities are formed, is not new, and yet my unique platform has given me a rich treasure trove of stories from across the province.

I am delighted to share some of those voices and stories with Ontario and the world.
