Media Advisory: Lieutenant Governor to honour 2018 PyeongChang Olympic and Paralympic athletes

Toronto, April 9, 2018. The Hon. Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will pay tribute to a number of Olympic and Paralympic athletes from Ontario during a reception in the Lieutenant Governor’s Suite at Queen’s Park. Joined by the Premier and Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, Her Honour will recognize and thank athletes and their families and friends who support them. In the recent games in PyeongChang, Canadian Olympic and Paralympic competitors brought home a total of 57 medals: 19 gold, 12 silver, and 26 bronze.
